Share scores and collaborate
Send a copy of a score, invite someone to collaborate over iCloud, or hand a practice bundle to a student — and know what each path shares.
Touch and hold a piece in your library and open its Share menu. The two entries do different things — the labels say what leaves your iPad.
Share a copy
Share a copy… hands the score file itself to the system share sheet — AirDrop, Messages, Mail, Files. The person receives an ordinary file; what you change afterwards stays yours.
Invite to collaborate
Invite to collaborate… sends an iCloud invitation instead of a file, like sharing a note in Apple Notes. The person follows your updates to the piece. This entry appears for pieces whose file is on this iPad.
Hand a practice bundle to a student
Practice material — a piece with its zones, measures and worked layers — travels as a .sheetturner bundle built from the piece's analysis views. The receiving iPad matches the bundle to its own copy of the score by the file's fingerprint, so annotations and zones land on the right measures even though the two devices imported the file separately.
Note Collections can also be shared from their own screen; a collection starts private until you change its visibility.
Next: Collections or Sync and backup.
